Train With Wolfgang is Affiliated With Dojo Nine!
We're honoured to announce that Train With Wolfgang is now officially affiliated with Dojo Nine, one of Calgary's most respected jiu-jitsu academies. This affiliation means a lot to us. Dojo Nine is a highly respected martial arts school which produces many high level athletes. Dojo Nine is run by black belt brothers, Randy and Walton.
Why This Affiliation Matters
Dojo Nine is run by Walton and Randy Chung, two high level black belts in Calgary. Wolfgang trained with them in the beginning of his Jiu-Jitsu journey, shedding blood, sweat, and tears on the mats together, long before either gym had a sign on the door.
Twenty Years, Full Circle
Wolfgang, Walton, and Randy were training at a time when BJJ training was built around MMA preparation. They trained together as partners, pushing each other through the hard rounds that shaped all of them. Wolfgang went on to compete internationally and fight professionally. Last week, that relationship came full circle when Wolfgang received his second degree black belt stripe, awarded by the same people he started training with two decades ago.
What the Affiliation Means for Students

Train With Wolfgang members now have access to cross training at Dojo Nine, an open invitation to their open mats, and a spot at promotion days, which our two gyms now run together. We also bring in guest instructors from Dojo Nine, black belts, brown belts, and purple belts, to run classes and share technique.
